The regular coffee morning that Councillor Elaine Costigan and the volunteer team have built at Wednesbury Town Hall are an amazing thing.
Hundreds of older people from the area gather each week to chat, laugh, dance, and look after eachother.
I was glad to go along this week and take part in the bingo!
It was also an opportunity to gather signatures for our petition to save the 45 bus.
So many of the older people there rely on the buses to get around and would be stuck at home alone without them, so there was lots of support for our petition!
